According to the 2022 census, there were 62,318 inhabitants in the municipality of Stara Pazova.
The Municipality of Stara Pazova is famous for its diverse ethnic structure, and therefore its confessional and cultural structure. The most populous people are Serbs, followed by Slovaks, Croats, Roma people and others. By the Second World War, the Slovakian community had been dominant in Stara Pazova, and today it is the largest community in our country. The Slovak people settled here in the second half of the 18th century, and to this day managed to preserve their language, folk culture, folk costumes and customs. The basis of their tradition is the elementary school in the Slovak language The hero Janko Čmelik, SACS (Serbian artistic-cultural society)Janko Čmelik Hero, the folklore ensemble Klasje, the theater group VHV, evangelical church, radio program RTV Stara Pazova in the Slovak language, etc.
The Croatian community is the third largest ethnic group in the municipality, and is mostly concentrated in Golubinci. They began with the settlement on the territory of the municipality of Stara Pazova at the end of the 18th century. Their culture and tradition in this region are preserved and nurtured by the Croatian Cultural Education Society Tomislav from Golubinci.
